Expressing our rich Caribbean Heritage, we at Karibbean Kitchen present to the world our delicious cultural dishes and delicacies that we enjoy on many special occasions as Caribbean people. We also use this platform as a way to introduce various individuals who’re not familiar with our cultural dishes, but are enthused and intrigued about the Caribbean experience and are willing to experience not just our music and dance traditions but also our tasty and culinary delights.
In the Caribbean, special dishes (such as our scrumptious Black Cake) are made to commemorate and celebrate the time spent together by our families and friends locally and those of us that live in other lands. This is one way that we preserve our heritage and as we interact with other cultural customs we exchange our cultural experience by sharing delicious foods. This allows us to appreciate others and in return we’re also appreciated.
Throughout the year we’ll present special online offers to present our cultural dishes on this platform. Interested individuals can order online and have the product shipped to their door. Additionally, convenient regional pick up/delivery points may be made available. (Locations will be posted if available).
This first presentation launches our presentation to the world of our Caribbean Black Cake, traditionally known as Rum cake.
Feel free to take a look at the historical account of how this came to be one of our corner stone cakes, view the ingredients and see various videos of how it’s made. (Visit our History section for more information) Please contact us for networking, advertising and promotion opportunities on our website. We thank you for your support and patronage.
Enjoy!
